What is an Acupuncture Treatment?
- Initial Intake:
You'll be asked an array of questions pertaining to your body, lifestyle, and specific aliments. Additional diagnoses will also be used to further assess your condition.
- Assessment:
A diagnosis will be made based on the information gathered during the intake and a treatment plan will be created.
- Acupuncture:
1-15 sterile and disposable acupuncture needles will be gently inserted into specific points throughout your body to stimulate the natural healing process.
- Herbal Recommendations:
After resting for 15-40 minutes, you'll be given complementary Chinese medicinal herbs or herbal/dietary suggestions.
- Other Techniques:
Depending on your assessment, any of the following modalities may be used to achieve the best results during your treatment:
Electroacupuncture, Chinese Massage, Moxibustion, Cupping, Guasha
